Battle of the Bulge - Remagne - Belgium 13-15/12/2009
Six GI’s from polish Big Red One participated in official 65th anniversary of Battle of the Bulge. This time we played role of the soldiers from 87th Infantry Division. Event, which was organized by Belgian Duty First in Remagne gave us unforgettable memories and important experience. We were astonished by lesson of professionalism and the highest level of living history. Once again, we are grateful to our friends from Belgium for this invitation.

"Wacht am Rhein" maneuvers in Gdynia 5/12/2009
In life of every LHA, there is a time for debates, for searching and studying the archives and collecting new staff. But everything can be tested only during private battles with unknown enemies in totally new surrounding. 5.12. northern part of our group met with reenactors from LHA Prusy ( SS and Luftwaffe). Gdynia (Tricity) was place where two squads had started their struggle. Both groups received new experience during two exhausting but gratifying battles, which traditionally,were won by Big Red One. Whole meeting was establishing to the Battle of the Bulge. Unfortunatelly, snow didn’t cover forest and ground.

503 PIR- Corregidor on Hel Peninsula 22/08/2009
Pacific Theatre of Operations is in many cases forgotten by reenactors and average spectator. This time, we received unique opportunity to portray profiles of paratroopers who fought on Corregidor with 503 PIR, during Philippines Campaign. Whole event was placed on the airport near Jastarnia. It was our first step and propably we will develop this kind of activity.

Malopolski Air Show - Kraków 2009 27-28/06/2009
This time, Kraków become area of our struggles. Our association was coordinating living history camp, which was additional attraction during Malopolski Air Show, annual event which is organized during every last weekend of June. We were presenting 1st Division during Normandy breakout by creating military camp nicknamed STRECZYK, in order to present one of the heroes of the Big Red One, sgt Philip Streczyk and participated in two battles. Shows presented combat in Normandy and Czechoslowakia at last monts of war.

Malopolski Air Show - Kraków 2009

This time, Kraków become area of our struggles. Our association was coordinating living history camp, which was additional attraction during Malopolski Air Show, annual event which is organized during every last weekend of June.

We were presenting 1st Division during Normandy breakout by creating military camp nicknamed STRECZYK, in order to present one of the heroes of the Big Red One, sgt Philip Streczyk and participated in two battles. Shows presented combat in Normandy and Czechoslowakia at last monts of war.
